El día de hoy se dieron a conocer las cintas que estarán participando en la contienda por el Oscar, la ceremonia estuvo a cargo de la presidenta de la Academia de Hollywood, Cheryl Bone Isaacs, quien en compañía de Guillermo del Toro, Ang Lee y John Krasinski ha anunciado las nominaciones de la entrega 88ª edición de los premios.
Los mexicanos Emmanuel Lubezki, Martin Hernández y Alejandro González Iñárritu obtuvieron nominación al premio de la Academia por The Revenant.
La ceremonia de entrega de los Oscar 2016 tendrá lugar el próximo 28 de febrero en el Dolby Theatre de Los Ángeles, con Chris Rock por segunda vez como maestro de ceremonias.
